Specifically designed for belaying, the Black Diamond GridLock Screwgate features a design that eliminates the risks of cross loading. Our GridLock model is intuitive and easy to use. With its uniquely shaped finger isolating the body, it keeps the carabiner oriented in the right position. The specific back edge of the GridLock properly positions the belay systems. In other words, no more carabiners that turn and are cross-loaded.
